Step 10: Adoption support

You will be supported by us until the adoption order is granted and beyond if needed.

If you reside in Edinburgh, you can self-refer to us at any time after the adoption.

If you reside out with Edinburgh you can self-refer to us up to 3 years from the date the adoption order was granted, after this period you would be supported by your local authority.
