Post approval and support

Once you are an approved foster carer your social worker will remain involved and they will provide you with regular support which will include monthly supervision. You will become an important person in the team around the child / young person. You will also be provided with key areas of training to support you in your first year of becoming a foster carer and following this you will have a personalised development plan.
