Home study assessment

This includes regular meetings with you and face to face discussions with your children and referees. The home study gathers evidence of your abilities to meet the main skill areas and helps prepare you for what is expected within the foster care role. We also complete a range of checks including home safety. A report based on the information gathered through the assessment and preparation process is compiled and signed by you and your assessing social worker. This will include a recommendation on fostering remit.
