Lucia's story - what it's like foster

It is a real privilege to be foster parents and to see your child grow and flourish in your care. We want them to be the best that they can be and for us to be a part of their journey even if it is only for a short time. We have always treated foster kids as we would our own and they go on holiday with us and we make all holidays a time to remember. We like to get updates on how they have settled down and any achievements with their new forever families. The moving on will always make you cry but as long as you can remember how you have helped change their lives for the better you will get over it.
